Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
1. Acceptance
By using CrowdOpinio, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. What CrowdOpinio is
CrowdOpinio uses YouTube API Services. It fetches publicly available comments and video metadata from YouTube via the YouTube Data API v3 and uses AI to analyze them.
We access public data only, using a server-side API key. We never request access to your YouTube account, and we cannot see your private data, subscriptions, or YouTube Studio analytics.
Your reports are stored in your dashboard so you can return to them. Those reports consist mainly of AI-generated analysis, and also include a small number of verbatim comment excerpts — for example the most-liked comments and quoted highlights — shown as evidence for the findings. We never sell or redistribute comment data. You can delete any saved scan from your dashboard at any time.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use CrowdOpinio only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Submit URLs to private, restricted, or unauthorized content
- Attempt to scrape, abuse, or overload the service
- Use the service to violate any applicable laws or third-party terms
- Reverse engineer or copy the service
4. Third-party platforms
CrowdOpinio uses YouTube API Services to access data from YouTube. By using CrowdOpinio, you are agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and you agree to Google's Privacy Policy, which describes how Google handles data.
5. AI-generated content
Analysis results are generated by AI and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. CrowdOpinio is a research and intelligence tool — results should not be used as the sole basis for business, legal, or financial decisions. Always verify important findings independently.
6. Service availability
CrowdOpinio is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy, or availability. The service may be changed, paused, or discontinued at any time. We are not liable for any loss arising from unavailability of the service.
7. Credits, payments & refunds
CrowdOpinio operates on a credit model — 1 credit = 1 video analyzed. New accounts receive 5 free credits on signup, no credit card required. Additional credits can be purchased in packs from the Credits page.
Credits are deducted when a Deep Scan analysis runs. If a video can't be analyzed (comments disabled, too short, a live stream, or a premiere), that credit is automatically returned to your balance — no need to contact us.
Purchased credits are non-refundable once used. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at our contact page and we will make it right.
Deep Scan only analyzes regular videos with sufficient comment activity. A video qualifies when it is longer than 2 minutes (not a YouTube Short), has comments enabled, has at least 25 comments, and is not a live stream or premiere. Videos that do not meet all four criteria are skipped automatically — and that credit is refunded.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrowdOpinio and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (if any).
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of CrowdOpinio after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
